Perhaps you've already seen the Cabanes Tchanquées of the Bay of Arcachon? Real emblem of the region, these huts on stilts are located on the Île aux Oiseaux, in the middle of the Arcachon Bay. We were charmed by this island and its huts that we could admire closely during a boat trip. During our visit, we were even able to walk to the steps of the huts thanks to the low tide. Be assured, in case of high tide, you will also be able to get close to the huts and go around them by boat.

We advise you to go to this wild island. You will enjoy a relaxing and refreshing moment. We went there at sunset: an exceptional moment that we won't forget! The Île aux Oiseaux was one of the stops on our boat trip after having sailed along the Dune du Pilat and seen the coast of Cap Ferret.
